10 SITE ACTIONS MENU

 

The Site Actions menu allows you to manage general site settings and general e-portfolio settings. Using this menu you can add a new library, list or web page to the website, edit and remove them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

10.1 Create 

Use this menu option to add a new library, list, web page to the website. To access the Create page go to Site Actions > Create.

 

10.2 Edit Page

This page contains a list of all web parts available for the site and all sites under it.

 

10.3 Site Settings

Use this menu to manage settings, users and user groups (and permissions for users and groups), site appearance, templates, workflows, site administration settings, site collection administration settings. To access the Site Settings page go to Site Actions > Site Settings.

 

10.4 Invite

This option allows you to give specific rights for your files preview to certain users. You can add these users to a group of invited users. To do this fill in the invitation form that appears.

10.5 Export

 

You can transfer your portfolio to other systems and SharePoint servers. To export your portfolio click Export and fill out the form.

IMS package is used to transfer e-portfolio to other systems which support IMS ePortfolio standard (http://www.imsglobal.org/ep/index.html).

To transfer E-portfolio to another SharePoint server use SharePoint package.
